RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze, develop and modify complex software programs. Lead project teams to define specifications for complex software programming applications and modify existing applications. Analyze and isolate application issues and perform problem resolution. Monitor progress of larger software-based projects by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions. Support business leadership in the analysis of software and hardware system needs, options, risks, costs and impact on business processes and goals. Work on web-based development initiatives, ensuring software development life cycle activities are consistent with the direction set by the architects and generally accepted best practices. Responsible for hands on development across multiple technology stacks, frameworks, and tools (C#.NET, UI, Angular, React, JavaScript, NHibernate, Dapper, Cosmos DB, SQL, Azure Service Bus. CI/CD Devops and cloud services). Integrate code scan frameworks like Sonarqube and other security systems. Part of a team of peers working on highly technical, enterprise initiatives initiated by Product Owners via a prioritized portfolio of features. Mentor colleagues in software engineering best practices. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S. *This position qualifies for UL LLC's employee referral policy program.*
QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and Experience Required: Master's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or related and three (3) years of experience as a software engineer, software developer, or related
• Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or related and five (5) years of experience in as a software engineer, software developer, or related
• Special skills required: Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) Microsoft C#.NET development; 2) UI, Angular, React and JavaScript; 3) NHibernate, Dapper, Cosmos DB, SQL and Azure Service Bus; 4) CI/CD Devops; 5) Cloud services; and 6) integrating code scan frameworks like Sonarqube and other security systems. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
