Applications Administrator
Job Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Enterprise Tool Administrator who will be responsible for the effective operation/administration, future roadmap, and successful adoption of our Applied Atlassian applications. In this role, the admin will be responsible for managing our current configuration, gathering requirements, and configuring new functionality, investigating, and troubleshooting issues and managing relationships with our users. What You'll Do
- Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and business analyst to meet with business owners, document requirements and convert them effectively. Examples include, but are not limited to system configuration, customization, administration, maintenance, management of users & groups, data, and security
- Serves as subject matter expert (SME) while working closely with business stakeholders to capture, discuss and assist with their business process
- Ensure data integrity and managing changes through our test environments into production.
- Develops, communicates, and executes on availability of application capabilities for the busines
- Be the focal point for ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users.
- Documents standard operating and technical procedures
- Assists users organizational wide
- Familiarity with end user functionality/processes
- Administrative duties including user management, master data changes (merges, re-assignments), data importing, and change management
- Drive and maintain Governance best practices
- Support the migration of acquired environments into the corporate instance.
- Be a key contact for Atlassian & Slack support
- Keeps abreast of new features/functionality and appropriately share with organization
- Conducts regular de-cluttering and archiving of inactive Confluence spaces, Jira projects and Slack channels
What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely
Your experience should include some or all the following:
- Previous experience working with the Atlassian Product Suite and Slack at Administrator level
- Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
- Demonstrates excellent communication/collaboration and personal interaction skills with all organizational levels
- Able to manage and prioritize work assignments and work well in a team environment
- Ability to manage responsibilities with limited supervision
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field or a combination of equivalent Education and Experience
