This is a hybrid role (three days per week at our HQ) and will report directly to the Sr TA Manager, who is based in Chicago, IL.

Crafty's mission is to help companies craft better workplaces by providing the services and technology to deliver a modern, comprehensive food & beverage program for their employees, no matter where they work. After operating with a vertically integrated supply chain (i.e., directly fulfilling orders from Crafty-operated distribution centers) in Chicago and the Bay Area, our team launched a third party fulfillment model that has rapidly scaled our coverage into over 35 markets globally.

The role:
Crafty is looking for a driven & self motivated Recruiter I to join our team and to provide full-cycle recruiting support for our Operations functions.
In this role, you will partner with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and interview plans, source and qualify candidates, drive the interview process, and negotiate offers. Some examples of roles you may work on are: Food & Beverage Associate, Barista, Delivery Specialist, Warehouse Specialist across multiple markets within the US.
You'll use every hire as an opportunity to hone the process and candidate experience. Along the way, you'll also organize and attend recruitment events (virtual and in-person), test innovative methods of marketing Crafty roles, and brainstorm strategies to measure skills utilizing a mix of interview questions, automated assessments, and case studies.

Required Qualifications
- TALENT CHAMPION: Demonstrates adeptness in high-volume recruiting, particularly in the food & beverage or customer-centric sectors, meeting key performance goals. Excels in identifying and attracting top talent through innovative local talent channel programs and events that bolster Crafty's candidate pool. Displays strong diversity awareness with effective sourcing techniques for diverse populations. Actively improves candidate experiences and efficiently manages the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring timely updates, offer processing, and completion of background checks.
- CRAFTY BRAND AMBASSADOR: Be a creative storyteller for Crafty; understand how to pitch the upside of each position and cultivate prospective team members into hires. Assists in creating a compelling employee value proposition for prospective team members and supports the recruitment process for entry to mid-level positions. Demonstrates eagerness to develop skills in attracting and closing talent, with a focus on contributing to the team's overall success.
- BUSINESS ACUMEN: Results-Oriented team player who holds on to a strong sense of ownership and accountability for work performance and takes pride in contributing to the company's success. Maintains a positive and proactive approach to work, effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and critical objectives with a positive attitude.

Expected Results:
Objective #1: Focus on high-quality hires to improve Crafty's Client Operation's efficiency and boost profitability
Goal: Ensure 70% of your Client Ops hires are meeting or exceeding expectations at their 90 day check in
- Key Initiative #1: Using new hire archetypes and effective interview scorecards, for every 3 people passed to the hiring manager, one is hired.
- Key Initiative #2: Develop and lead 2 talent events per quarter (in-person or online) that increases the talent pool based on our archetypes.
- Key Initiative #3: After first 60 days in the job, proactively collaborate with your manager and the People team to develop and implement a user-friendly process that will equip Client Operations People Managers with the essential tools and templates to effectively support new hires through their first 90 days.
Objective #2: Become a trusted recruitment partner for hiring managers in the ops team, fostering trust to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process to attract top talent at the right time.
Goal: Assist the Implementation Team to achieve their desired implementation score by proactively hiring dedicated client operations teams for 100% of new client sites two weeks before implementation, ensuring seamless client site onboarding and optimal launch success.
- Key Initiative #1: Act as a talent advisor and partner with the sales team, implementation team, and client operations team to develop a proactive hiring strategy that anticipates your hiring manager's needs, creating firm timelines and meeting the offer out deadline 90% of the time.
- Key Initiative #2: Proactively implement new sourcing strategies to attract top talent to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates exists providing the ability decrease time to hire by one week.

The pay band for this position is $53,000 to $63,000 in Chicago.
