We are pleased to announce the following outstanding technologists as our finalists for The Moxie Awards' CTO of the Year.

David Dahl

CTO - Total Attorneys

David Dahl brings 15 years of high-tech experience to Total Attorneys. His tenure with early-to-mid-stage Software–as-a-Service organizations made him a natural and valuable addition to the Total Attorneys team. His background includes serving as CTO of Emmi Solutions, VP Global Tech at OptionMonster, CTO of SpringCM, VP Technology at Orbitz, and Principal at Zefer Consulting (formerly Neoglyphics).

David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago. He is a member of the International Association of Software Architects, and lives in Chicago with his wife, Sima, a marketing consultant to small businesses.

Eric Lunt

CTO - BrightTag

Prior to joining BrightTag, Eric was co-founder and CTO of FeedBurner, which Google acquired in 2007. After the acquisition, Eric remained at Google in a senior technology role. Prior to FeedBurner, Eric co-founded and served as CTO at Spyonit.com (acquired by 724 Solutions), served as lead technical architect at Digital Knowledge Assets (creators of the collaborative personal publishing software “sceneServer”), and helped to lead the application architecture team in Accenture’s next generation technology group known as “Project Eagle.”

Eric graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in Applied Computational Mathematics. In addition to his work at BrightTag, Eric is a senior technology advisor to Twitter and he also sits on the board of Gnip. Eric was recognized as one of Crain’s Tech 25 for his contributions to drive technology growth in Chicago.

Fred Lee

VP & CTO - Enova

Fred Lee is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Enova International, Inc., the largest on-line licensed lender in the U.S. and trusted online provider of credit alternatives for more than two million hard-working people worldwide. Prior to joining Enova International, Inc. Fred was the Director of Web Strategy at Vail Systems. He has a B.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.

Harper Reed

CTO - Obama Campaign

Harper Reed is awesome. He exists in the wonderful Chicago, IL where he helps startups start and technology techno. In a previous life, Harper was the CTO of the amazing Threadless.com, where he helped build the technology to grow a small t-shirt company into a crowdsourcing beast. As an a engineer, Harper is very interested in real time social software, civic data hacking and the future of the social internet. When not causing problems with technology, Harper can be found yo-yoing, juggling and hacking random internet appliances.

Tracey Wiedmeyer

CTO & Co-Founder - InContext Solutions

Tracey co-founded InContext Solutions in 2009 and has served as the company’s Chief Technology Officer since its inception. With over 12 years of experience in both fast growing and large scale technology environments, Tracey is responsible for setting InContext’s technology direction, ensuring the delivery of leading edge solutions to clients while overseeing the technology team.

Prior to co-founding InContext, Tracey was a Director at New Resources Consulting and a software architect for Credit Interlink. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from Ripon College and a Master of Science in Distributed Software Systems from DePaul University.
