Job Description
As a Data Owner Senior Associate Lead in our consumer Community Banking - Operations Data Ownership you will work with a group that reports into the Head of Data for MLIO, Voice and real-time data across Operations . We are looking for a leader who is passionate about using data to accelerate product development, drive business growth, and improve the Chase customer experience. A successful Data Owner Lead -MLIO will be important to the firm's agenda of enabling the business to drive faster innovation through the use of its data, while simultaneously ensuring that data is of good quality and well-protected using data governance standards . This role is accountable for all data governance, aiding the technology scrum teams in data modernization and accelerating the Discovery process for MLIO . The Data Owner Lead serves as a member of the data team collaborating with the area product owners, and technology lead to ensure that the product delivers data in a manner consistent with the quality and safety requirements of the business. The Data Owner Lead also partners with the product Analytics lead to drive increased business value through the identification of data required to support analytics outcomes.
Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical resource and head for end to end delivery and data related execution for real-time program across operations arena.
  • Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, and metrics and reporting.
  • Work with key partners to drive an understanding of the data and its use within the business. Provide subject matter expertise with respect to the content and use of data in the product and associated business area.
  • Identify the scope of critical data within their product, ensuring that the prioritized data is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose, and classified accordingly with metadata to enable its understanding and control
  • Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead for their product by identifying data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support analytics projects.
  • Work closely with the Area Product Owners to scale the data ingestion and modernization process along with architecture and movement of data to the Consumer banking Data Lake.
  • Identify data source systems across consumer banking.
  • Develop processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for data in the product, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality
  • Manage the execution of tasks to comply with firm wide policies, standards, and procedures related to the integrity and protection of data in the product
  • Develop relationships with product data delivery partners and data consumers, including leaders in the Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk and Control functions
  • Manage the execution of a set of milestones. Understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the product development lifecycle with respect to data.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 2+ years of industry experience in a data-related field -
  • 2+ years of experience within technology engineering, AWS, cloud modernization as it relates to data analytics
  • Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure our product and organization is on track to meet our goals
  • Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences
  • Structured thinker with good business acumen
  • Bachelor's degree required
