Remote Contract Product Analyst
The Product organization at Neighborhoods.com is a small but diverse group of professionals who work in an agile environment. Designers, analysts, and researchers communicate frequently, with daily touchpoints. Everyone rolls up their sleeves to pitch in where their skills are most needed. Product activities include planning, reviewing, recalibrating, and retrospecting to improve and optimize two consumer-facing products. There is extensive collaboration with the Engineering and Marketing teams as well. Product prides itself on the ability to help the business make tactically and strategically impactful decisions.
Neighborhoods.com is the first online real estate resource to put the neighborhood at the center of the home search. The platform invites visitors to imagine their life in a new area by providing a local’s perspective, including detailed descriptions and resident reviews of schools, amenities, and the surrounding community. With up-to-date listings, the company offers aspiring homeowners accurate and reliable information about market changes and new homes for sale. Neighborhoods.com and its network of real estate agents are licensed and knowledgeable experts that guide users through every step of the homebuying process—from the initial search to the closing table.
What are we looking for?
A product analyst who is excited about optimization, experimentation, and data. We take pride in the work we deliver and continually iterate on our ideas. Our product organization puts a lot of emphasis on ownership and collaboration within our team as well as with engineers. Our ideal contractor is comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to easily switch contexts, as we support two main product lines. A sense of humor is always a plus!
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of professional experience in product analytics
- Experience creating A/B tests and experiments to understand growth and user behavior
- Experience with mobile first products
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree, vocational training, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have experience in a B2C environment
What would you be doing?
- Establishing product goals and success metrics
- Developing analytics tracking strategy to understand and drive KPIs
- Conducting product experiments (A/B/n test, multivariate test, etc.) to understand growth and user behavior impacts
- Architecting and mapping analytics variables to track clickstream data in scalable and sustainable ways
- Synthesizing data to inform product decisions and actionable goals
- Building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our products
- Conducting in-depth analysis to uncover opportunities for improving our products
