This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful candidate is expected to conduct training, deliver company and product information, increase product awareness via regular trips to national account support locations, and develop approach for merchandising, assortment and promotional planning; manage emerging category expansion for Internet of Things products, cameras, locks, and video camera integrated garage door openers, and analyze and support utilizing Point of Sale data for forecasting, P&L management and customer recommendations. Requires 2-4 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop approach for merchandising, assortment and promotional planning; manage emerging category expansion for Internet of Things products, cameras, locks, video camera integrated garage door openers
  • Analyze and support utilizing Point of Sale data for forecasting, P&L management and customer recommendations
  • Analyze account opportunities and performance; discover and address customer needs; generate and develop new business opportunities
  • Conduct training, deliver company and product information, increase product awareness via regular trips to National Account support locations
  • Facilitate improvement for key account activities in areas of On Time Delivery, purchase requirements/incentive programs, product mixes, new product purchases
  • Forecast demand and budget to support joint business planning with the customer; identify logistical synergies
  • Manage and develop strategic relationships with key internal and external decision makers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, achieve maximum sales in assigned business segments of key accounts
  • Partner with customer service to ensure proper scheduling of key account shipments during high volume activity like the start of a promotion
  • Facilitate communication within all critical departments of assigned key account
  • Work with key account support personnel in areas of forecasting and product ordering to meet account management objectives
  • Communicate promotional activities to all senior management, field sales and distribution center personnel of assigned accounts to increase awareness and effectiveness of promotions
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Able to travel up to 70% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license
  • Proficient in sales systems
