Mrs. Judd’s Games is a collaboration between KBooM! Games & Apps and Frances Judd, an early childhood educator with more than 25 years of experience and expertise from teaching kindergarten at the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago. Together, we are reshaping the early childhood learning experience in the digital age with a series of fun, interactive classroom games digital devices (IOS, androd and Web) We know that the lessons children learn at this critical stage will activate higher learning as they grow, and through play, we can instill a love of learning that will carry through into adulthood. Our apps extend the child's learning to include parent-child connections because budding students who discuss their learning are better prepared for school. We believe that childhood learning in the virtual world should still have the ring of authenticity. That’s why each of our games is designed with elements and ideas children experience in everyday life and relate to, allowing them to connect with the educational concepts on a deeper level while still having fun. Our games are colorful, engaging and designed by passionate and talented developers. We love to work with companies on their education and child focused digital projects. http://histolines.com/Imagine if Julius Caesar and Cleopatra had a facebook what kind of insights into his character and history overall we could gain.Histolines is a platform that compiles a full record of precise occurrences in lives of historical characters with account of time and place. As this platform matures the collection of these events will give us an infinitely precise view of history. But unlike disjoint books and websites the composition of all the events will give us a refined perspective of historical interactions and relations that might not been seen otherwise. To imagine how it would work pretend that facebook and wikipedia had a child. When you enter the main site you will see a story line of occurrences much like the facebook news feed. But instead of the latest rants and check ins of your friends you will see the real life events of historical figures.Unlike facebook, this site will borrow the original attributes of wikipedia. No one will have a personal account, instead anyone will be able to add a life event of any known character. Each event that one will post, at least initially will be confined to a predetermined collection of event types. For example birth, death, battles won or lost, music composed, war started treaty signed, novel written...This will guide the creators to actual, factual occurrences and prevent the usual bias and interpretation. To control for less relevant details we will create a significance indicator that will be populated by the reader. Also to account for garbage posts we will create an accuracy measure which will again be determined by the reader. Each event will allow the creator to link a reference in order to justify their claim. And the reader will be able to filter out events based on lack of reference or low significance or accuracy. The structure of this website will allow the public to generate precise historical timelines and make detailed history more accessible to view, write and interpret its significance and accuracy. Thus eliminating the influence of the victors on history.Unlike wikipedia the site's database structure will allow more detail, precision and perhaps future visualization capability. This is not a substitute for history books just a new resource to navigate and compile historical events for ease of understanding.Histolines 2.0 that was relased in May added Pictures and quotes so you can stock JFK's pictures as he's growing up and through out his presidential years, read FDR's quotes and follow Magellan in hist journey around the world with the map feature. Check out some of the finest examples of our work and please contribute to histolines.com

Moneythink (MT) targets urban 11th and 12th graders. These students have dreams, but between age 17 and 20, they face many financial decisions that can make or break their future: getting/keeping a job, using a paycheck, credit cards, paying for college. To prepare students for these decisions, MT provides trained college volunteers who serve as near-peer role models, college mentors, and financial coaches for urban teens, leading them through an in-school 21-week Economic Opportunity course integrating mobile technology, design, behavioral economics, and pop-culture. As one of our students who received scholarships to 21 universities said: “There are three reasons I’m the only kid from my neighborhood going to college: my mom, my sports, and Moneythink.” During the 2012 – 2013 academic year, MT served over 1,600 under-resourced high school students in 17 urban communities. In the 2013 – 2014 academic year, MT aims to reach over 2,000 students across 30 urban communities.
