Crashpad would be an online platform/messaging system set up only for students at accredited colleges and universities, allowing students to message 'hosts' to see if they could spend the night. The length of stay would be negotiated on an individual basis between the hosts and commuters. Crashpad would also serve as a networking and community platform that would build school-wide connections and relationships. Revenue would be generated from an annual membership fee that would include a location and background check, full site access, and administration procedures such as monitoring site activity, customer support, marketing, and verification processes to ensure legitimacy of members.
