Job Summary:

As an Associate Director, Growth Marketing this will be a dual role in the first year to 18 months: you will be both client facing, presenting and recommending cross-channel, biddable media solutions as well as strategies, but will occasionally be hand-on keyboard as needed. This person will overseeing several client accounts of their own as well as speaking towards campaign strategies to the greater Chief Detective client set as well.  You’ll collaborate closely with clients and the Chief Detective growth marketing teams to deliver data-driven, performance-focused strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of cross-channel campaigns across Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and programmatic. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of presenting campaign results and strategies to clients, managing successful campaigns, collaborating with cross-function teams and a deep understanding of ad platforms.

  • A/B Testing: Implement A/B tests for ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies to improve overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize campaigns for performance, including adjusting bids, refining targeting, and improving ad relevance.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with other growth managers and creative strategists to ensure clients are kept up to date with campaign progress and key performance metrics. Manage and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance calls with clients to effectively communicate performance, insights, trends, and strategy.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with ad platform best practices, algorithm changes, and new features, and apply this knowledge to optimize campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of performance marketing experience, with at least 2 years of client-facing account management experience
  • Proven experience presenting cross channel media plans and results
  • Hands-on experience successfully managing Google Ads campaigns, that have yielded measurable results.
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns (including TikTok and Pinterest)
