Why This Role Is Valuable
The Manager/Sr. Manager, Diversity Equity & Inclusion will develop and drive our DEI strategies to enhance our workplace and our communities. This role will work with the VP of People & Culture to guide Revantage North America in building an inclusive culture comprised of a diverse workforce that makes a meaningful impact in our communities. As our DEI Manager, you will manage and execute projects and initiatives that weave DEI into all aspects of the business. This position will be directly involved in the scaling of Revantage's commitment to DEI to align with the business strategy, our culture, and our core company values.
How You Add Value

  • Support our DEI goals and specific deliverables for each year, being thoughtful to identify practical actions that are achievable, and fitting based on our culture
  • Partner with the key stakeholders across the organization to align efforts and activities with our DEI commitments (e.g., representation, retention)
  • Collaborate and influence both leaders and front-line staff; mobilize others into action around building more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments
  • Partner with Business Partners, L&D, TA and other key People & Culture functions to support inclusive learning, retention, and advancement strategies that attract, hire, and retain a diverse workforce for roles at all levels within the organization
  • Model empathy, active listening, and the ability to connect in an approachable way to ensure connection to our people, our culture and establish an environment to drive change
  • Promote and lead awareness and understanding of DEI issues through workshops, seminars, and other educational opportunities
  • Design and execute a comprehensive DEI strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Assess current DEI initiatives and recommend improvements based on best practices
  • Create, oversee and support the development of Employee Resource (Affinity) Groups in efforts to deepen the sense of belonging, community and inclusion both within their groups and across the organization
  • Listen to and give voice to emergent issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, the local communities, and nationally as it affects the organization
  • Develop and implement key metrics to measure DEI initiatives and programs using systems and business strategies. Improve on this over time and make recommendations based on the analysis of the data
  • Utilize and interpret data and analytics to help the organization understand progress including leading and lagging indicators toward our annual DEI goals
  • Network extensively with external peers, consultants, and industry experts to stay current, benchmark, and determine best appropriate resources for the enterprise.


What You Bring To The Role
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years' experience successfully developing and leading impactful DEI programs
  • Proven track record of promoting and supporting successful DEI strategies and/or programs to all levels of employees throughout an organization
  • Strong action orientation, accountable to taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and positivity
  • Direct work experience navigating cultural differences, gender equity, religious tolerance, structural racism, ageism, gender identity and expression, ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Can build rapport, trust, and display empathy and facilitate courageous conversations.
  • Ability to manage projects and stakeholders with diplomacy


Preferred:

  • Graduate degree a plus
  • Solid understanding of ESG/CSR subject matter, experience building and/or overseeing program execution
