What’s the role?
The Director, Medicare Partnerships is responsible for maintaining accounts, creating revenue opportunities with insurance carriers and brokers and identifying additional partnerships in the Medicare space, including identifying opportunities within complementary industries, such as financial services.
You will leverage your Medicare / Healthcare / HR tech expertise to help us define and build the next strategic business for Jellyvision. You will be relentlessly “external” in your focus - customer, partner, and market oriented, with a knack for thinking expansively about how to solve hard problems and how Jellyvision can leverage our strengths to beat competition and find win-win angles for Jellyvision to share in the value we create for our customers. You have large carrier and broker/consultants contacts on speed dial and are regularly checking in to stay connected to their goals, concerns, hopes and dreams.
What you’ll do to be successful
1.) Drive sales of ALEX Medicare
- Monitor and maintain the Medicare pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth
- Use your contacts to identify, contact, set meetings and contract enterprise level accounts in the following areas: Medicare Insurance Carrier, Brokerage, Provider, Pharmacy, and Financial partners.
- Set up 6 introductory meetings per month
2.) Effectively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Serve as point of contact for daily operational issues and escalations for partners and assure timely resolution of internal and customer inquiries.
- Develop strong working relationships across the organization to ensure initiatives are proceeding at pace and at peak performance
- Be open to giving and receiving feedback
- Ability to quickly pivot and manage ambiguity
3.) Manage and expand relationships with current accounts
Long-term management of existing partner relationships, including conducting in-depth business reviews and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and grow the business.
- Manage relationships with Medicare API customers
- Grow current book of business revenues by 25%
Experience & skills you’ll need
- Expertise in Medicare / Healthcare - knows the players, the ecosystem, and how money is made today
- Excellent market facing presence, comfortable talking with customers, partners, users to both capture input but also effectively communicate a vision.
- Experience leading customer discovery and validation, communicating vision to customers, and partnering with the product organization to bring the product strategy to life in the market.
- Must be able to work remotely and independently.
- 5+ years experience in the Healthcare industry and understanding of Medicare insurance carriers. Health Care Reform knowledge helpful.
- Must have proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functional areas.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
- Proven ability to interact at VP+ level.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
- Ability to remain flexible with changing business objectives.
The Details
- Location: Remote *travel will be required
- Starting Salary: $124,244 - $151,854
- Additional Compensation: this role is commission eligible
