The Role

As a Market Strategy Leader (MSL) you will lead the vision, business plan, and cross functional execution for the RMIS market. Serving as both the strategist and public representative, you will formulate a comprehensive business plan to attain corporate objectives. This includes developing a clear roadmap for the product, guiding Product Management peers with feedback and prioritization, and communicating to both internal and external stakeholders. You will commit to effective communication and measurement of the plan's success, collaborating closely with division leadership and functional heads to ensure seamless alignment across all departments. You will be accountable for the overall success of the business plan within the RMIS market segment as measured by the designated KPIs evaluate revenue growth, CSAT, and profitability.
Responsibilities

  • Develops market vision and business plan leveraging stakeholders including Origami product, marketing, sales, professional service, as well as clients, prospects, and analysts.
  • Authors business cases including market assessments and go-to-market plans.
  • Determines path to objectives - market share, profitability, revenue, number of clients, size of clients, etc.
  • Leads and drives the in-depth analysis of their market, guiding the identification of distinct product differentiators.
  • Takes ownership of and conducts a comprehensive analysis of the competitive landscape by maintaining constant communication with clients and prospects. Additionally, utilizes competitor and market research to strategically position market strategies and product solutions, aiming to achieve sales objectives.
  • Working with Partnerships Manager and Finance, manages relationships with key partnerships, and develops a list of potential Partnership and M&A targets.
  • Partners with Product Managers to ensure 12-month roadmap aligns to business vision and understands delivery timing to support successful market releases and predictable future capabilities utilizing Origami's product development tool, Aha.
  • Synthesizes research and effectively communicates to relevant teams.
  • Collaborates with Product Marketing Manager (PMM) on campaign initiatives and marketing content, messaging, positioning, customer references and case studies.
  • Aligns with Practice Leads and Sales Reps to provide support to achieve business targets; understand and assist key opportunities.
  • Provides subject matter expertise with clients and implementation services to ensure both product and project success.
  • Deeply understands the Origami Risk platform, specifically for their market, and sufficient enough to contribute to the overall Integrated Risk Management (IRM) strategy and goals.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations to develop and maintain pricing and packaging that is reflective of the value of Origami within their market.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree - business, liberal arts, science, or engineering; MBA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years' experience in Product or Strategic consultative role
  • 3+ years' experience in Risk Management industry; market-specific certification a plus
