Marketing & Communications Associate Intern - Project Manager
The Marketing & Communications team helps build the ZS brand, champion thought leadership, support business development and engage our past, present and future workforce. We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support our B2B marketing and communications efforts. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to gain hands-on experience in events, program management, internal communications, brand and reputation, media, digital marketing and data management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns, craft content and materials, support client engagement initiatives, and optimize marketing performance.
Specifically, this role will be focused on project management of large marcomms projects and campaigns.
What You'll Do

• Project Managemen t /Marketing Process Management

• Open and scope projects, verify timelines and project details as part of project planning and support through team communication

• Assist with basic utility tasks within Workfront

• Develop and deliver ancillary standard operating procedures and training documentation

• Support & Alignment /Communication & Relationship Management

• Support p roduction team with standard tasks, composing weekly status reports, assisting with communication follow-up (meetings, kickoffs )

• Participate in the discovery and scoping process with delivery team members on various creative brief types

• Ensure status and metric reporting

• Project analysis

• Contribute to the project management of both go-to-market campaigns and other corporate initiatives, as needed.
• Quality Assurance - Assist with the marketing planning process ( e.g. milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar), ensuring marketing's goals are aligned with business and product objectives .

What You'll Bring

• Candidates should be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree related to marketing, business, journalism, or communications.

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and technical acumen .

• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Analytical thinker with a natural curiosity and ability to map strategy to tactics.

• Fluency in English
