As Senior Project Manager, Operations, you’ll get to:
- Work closely with Pangea’s operations and product teams to drive projects from concept through delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison between product and operations ahead of new product launches.
- Act as the central point of contact for Pangea’s new initiative task force, ensuring that the executive team has the necessary information to assess risk related to new products and growth opportunities.
- Assess progress to OKRs and support key Operations initiatives
- Manage tech vendor relationships including watchlist and identity.
- Lead twice-annual company-wide holiday preparedness efforts to ensure that Pangea’s quality scales with volume and be on point through holiday
- Support projects related to reducing cost and increase efficiency of payment operations
- Support prioritization of new bugs from an Operations perspective
- Create process for associates investigating payments issues for customers and partners
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of experience in project or program management.
- Record of driving change and communicating results to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Experience leading end-to-end program delivery across large teams.
- Willingness to engage the team in solutioning before escalating.
- Track record of driving results and projects to completion on schedule and on budget.
- Attention to detail; you are someone that digs in and understands the project.
- The passion to continuously learn and when something isn’t clear, take the initiative to figure it out.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, providing clear and concise updates to executive management and to all stakeholders in the organization
Bonus points if you have:
- Formal project management education or certification.
- A master's degree.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as financial services.
