As a Hotel Engine Mid-Market Account Manager, you will be responsible for helping our Mid-Market customer base realize the full potential of our product by driving spend, retention, and adoption of the Hotel Engine platform. This role involves managing a book of existing accounts, focusing on expanding usage, revenue, and retention. It’s a proactive growth role with no contracts or renewals.

Here’s what you’ll do:  

  • Hunt within existing account base to generate new business opportunities to meet and exceed the quota  
  • Drive monthly growth by upselling Hotel Engine across a dedicated book of business and ensure maximum adoption by your customers  
  • Display excellent research, analytical and presentation skills and demonstrate ability to lead customer-focused QBRs  
  • Design and evolve a comprehensive business plan for your book of accounts, including cross-selling, strategies to drive adoption and sell to decision-makers  
  • Facilitate hand-off of key accounts from sales to account management, partnering closely with Account Executives to onboard & ramp new customers 
  • Present Hotel Engine’s value position in the unmanaged travel space with expertise 
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as business operations, member support, marketing, sales enablement, product development and production support to drive customer outcomes 
  • Become a subject matter expert in the Hotel Engine platform & industry with extensive, accurate product knowledge 
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily KPI requirements  

Here’s what we’re looking for:  

  • Minimum 2 years of account management experience in a B2B organization 
  • Proven track record of success (top 15% of sales org)
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, takes initiative and adapts to changing demands. 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong or similar sales technologies   
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of retaining and expanding existing customer base  
  • Strong business acumen to partner with our customers to drive solutions to their business problems  

Cash compensation: 

  • Base salary $75,000 per year with OTE potential of $110,000/year (exceedable commission targets, accelerators, and meaningful equity!)
