The Digital Marketing Capabilities and Operations pillar oversees the advancement of MDLZ marketing digital capabilities and supports business operations of the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence. The pillar enables and liaisons with Global/ Local Consumer Experience teams and Global/Local Marketing to remove barriers and deliver exceptional capabilities experiences. This pillar is crucial in ensuring the proper flow of information across stakeholder groups and enforces digital first / consumer first mindset within the organization. This pillar supports project management and operations across complex, multi-function initiatives.
Purpose:
- Lead the development of MDLZ's digital marketing capabilities strategy and roadmap. This pillar serves as the COE on digital marketing capabilities and supports Consumer Digital marketing Strategy (Digital Center of Excellence) and broader Consumer Experience capability vision (CX Excellence) to drive prioritization of new to market / advanced opportunities and capability building across global and local teams.
- Internal project mgmt. and operations lead on complex Digital COE initiatives include GENAI, RFPs, etc. to guarantee seamless operations across functions and agency partners
Objective:
- Ensure the development and implementation of best-in-class capabilities and project management specific to digital and ensuring connection to the full marketing / brand / media ecosystem and compliance.
- Standardize approach with fit & flex solutions to ensure business works collectively to understand and act on consumer / customer / operational needs and business opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Strategy: Build the enterprise point of view and emergent strategies related to digital marketing capabilities and products that drive our digital marketing transformation agenda, consumer experiences and agile ways of working. Clarify, simplify and pilot opportunities we could adopt and translate into meaningful actions and workstreams.
Capability: Create enterprise narratives and end-to-end playbooks for BU teams in adoption across various digital marketing topics. Partner with global legal and other cross-function teams to build governance documents and cascade of communication in execution of digital ambition. Act as SME and 'bring the outside in' to shape our approach and actions.
Project Mgmt: Support global/local teams in implementation of complex initiatives specific to our digital marketing ambition (GENAI). Lead x-functional teams to plan, execute and deliver projects on time and within scope. Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies while ensuring stakeholder communication and alignment.
Cross-functional Oversight: Continuously collaborate across Global & Local business functions in Marketing, Consumer Experience, Commerce, MDS and I&A to drive Digital Capabilities ambition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years digital marketing experience in managing effective relationships with internal / external that yield in positive results
- Extensive experience building digital marketing capabilities, processes, playbooks, and tools to support execution.
- Leadership of and strong navigation of complex local, regional and global teams/communities
- Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional workshops and drive both capabilities and ways of working
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead and drive performance of complex initiatives
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $133,900,700 to $184,150; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
