The VP of Financial Planning & Analysis will oversee financial and strategic analysis to support the management of Revantage's corporate operations. This role involves managing the budget and forecast process, assisting with benchmarking analysis for Blackstone, overseeing cost allocations, and preparing board book presentations. This role will also oversee our Anaplan system for timekeeping, workforce planning and budgeting / forecasting. The VP will lead a growing team of eight, responsible for monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis of Revantage's corporate results. Extensive interaction with executive leadership, department heads, and partners at Blackstone and its real estate portfolio companies is also a key aspect of this role. This position is based in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee the FP&A team and delivery of services provided to Revantage, Portfolio Company partners ("PCs") and Blackstone and acts as relationship manager between our business partners and the FP&A team to ensure their information needs are being met
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecast process for Revantage including maintaining accurate files, coordinate budget/forecast meetings with department heads, our business partners, and providing budget/forecast/actual variance analysis
  • Oversee our Anaplan system for time tracking, workforce planning and budgeting/forecast and manage vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with other teams within Revantage, PCs and Blackstone to provide meaningful reporting and analysis of Revantage results
  • Collaborate with our Technology team to develop reporting dashboards and present results to Revantage, PCs and Blackstone in a way that demonstrates how the dashboard meets their business needs
  • Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting to CEO, CFO, department heads, PCs and Blackstone
  • Manage vendor relationships on metrics benchmarking for Blackstone to ensure Revantage is competitive. Analyzes data to ensure consistency between Revantage and benchmark companies.
  • Model and maintain cost allocations; perform scenario analysis of cost allocations to provide insights of costs
  • Serve as primary contact for analytical and ad hoc information requests from executive management, PCs and Blackstone
  • Spearhead efficiency projects for Revantage
  • Manage FP&A team providing coaching and development, leading hiring and training and providing year-round performance feedback
  • Lead special projects as needed


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive, relevant experience in accounting, FP&A/financial reporting experience
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience
  • Extraordinary oral and written communication skills ability to effectively discuss financial results and communicate with C-suite executive s
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights verbally and visually
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrate leadership experience in management and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple properties and meet deadlines.
